Pensingam on 3rd June
The producers of ‘Pen Singam’ have now decided to release the film on June 3 as it marks the special occasion of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi’s birthday.
The honorable Chief Minister himself has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film, which is reported to be a murder-mystery. The film features Telugu actor Udhay Kiran (he made his debut in Tamil film industry with K. Balachandar’s ‘Poi’) and National award winner Meera Jasmine in lead roles. Actress Shalini’s Brother Richard too performs another lead role and the entire story revolves around the murder investigation of his belle Sudarsana.
The film is directed by Bali Srirangam and is produced by Arumuganeri and S P Murugesan of Nandini Arts. Apart from the lead actors, Vivek, Radharavi, Raghava Lawrence, Thalaivasal Vijay, O A K Sundar, Vaagai Chandrasekaran, Y Gee Mahendran, Nizhalgal Ravi, Madan Bob, Manicka Vinayagam, Meera Jasmine, Sudarsana Sen, Rohini, Ramba, Lakshmi Rai, Lavanya, Anjali Devi and Sree Ranjani are also performing prominent roles in this film.
Deva has tuned melodies to the lyrical lines of Bhavendhar Bharathidasan, Chief Minister M Karunanidhi, Vaali, Pa Vijay and Vairamuthu.
